Between You and Me Seva offers a confidential one to one support at SEVA practice or at the client home. This service is especially for those who prefer to reach out for support in person. This service is available to those who live near SEVA surroundings. Our support workers are happy to meet up with the client for lunch, coffee and can arrange to go for walks with yourself. If need to be, we can assist the client to their appointments e.g. GP, hospitals and others.
Telephone and online service is also available. The service can be provided in the comfort of the client own home.
SEVA’s trained one to one support workers are on hand to provide information on general matters, such as welfare rights as well as advocacy service to individuals and families. They are also there to listen to your problems and help you deal with your emotional issues. This service enables the client to achieve independence as far as possible in all areas of your life.
In accordance with SEVA policy, our support workers are in regular supervision to ensure that they are providing an effective professional service, and that good practice is maintained and enhanced for the well-being of the client.
The assessment can be carried out by the Support worker or another member of staff.
Our One-to-One, Telephone and Home Visits Support, operates same as the one-to-one support service (Please refer to Support Process).
Clients have the opportunity to receive an introduction to support with the support worker by telephone.
If the client is not comfortable with the sessions, please discuss this with your support worker during your session time, in order for a mutual agreement to be reached as to the way forward.
